Led Lincoln-Way West to its first playoff win in six years as a senior.
Named the South West Suburban Conference (SWSC) Defensive Player of the Year as a junior in 2023 after racking up 110 tackles, 12 TFL, six PBU, four forced fumbles and two sacks.
Began playing football in 7th grade, got called up to Lincoln Way West varsity team during his sophomore year at just 14 years old.
High school coach at Lincoln Way West was Luke Lokanc, a former teammate of David Braun's at Winona State.
Chose Northwestern over Iowa State, Northern Illinois, Cincinnati.
