Contributed throughout his career as a reserve safety and on special teams but moved into a starting role in the second game of 2012 and preserving it the rest of the year ... Recipient of NU's Brian Paynter "Ultimate Wildcat" Award, presented to a player who confronts adversity with courage and dedication ... Two tackles in season-opener Syracuse ... Finished with four tackles against Vanderbilt in his first career start ... Notched seven tackles against Boston College ... Posted five tackles against South Dakota ... Three stops vs. Indiana in Big Ten opener ... Recorded five stops at Penn State ... Five tackles and a PBU at Minnesota ...
