2024 Redshirt Sophomore:
Played and started in 10 games at quarterback, completed 159-of-296 throws for 1,714 yards with seven touchdowns, while rushing for 213 yards and two touchdowns … Named Academic All-Big Ten and CSC Academic All-District Team … Became the first Northwestern underclassman quarterback to throw for 1,700+ yards and rush for 200+ yards in a season since Brett Basanez in 2003 … In his first career start, completed 64.5% of his throws (20-of-31) for 227 passing yards and two passing touchdowns, while rushing for 62 yards in a win against Eastern Illinois (9/14) … Completed all 11 of his pass attempts in the second half … Became the first Big Ten quarterback to throw for 220+ yards and rush for 60+ yards in their first career start since Justin Fields (Ohio State) and Michael Penix (Indiana) in Week 1 of the 2019 season … Was the first Wildcat QB to achieve those numbers since Dan Persa against Minnesota in 2010 … Completed 60.5% of his passes (23-of-38) and threw for 243 yards and two touchdowns in the conference home opener vs. No. 23 Indiana (10/5) … Threw for 203 yards on 10 completions and ran for a touchdown in a 37-10 win over Maryland (10/11) … Became the first Northwestern quarterback to throw for 200+ yards on 10 or fewer completions since at least 1996 … Rushed for a team-high 55 yards on 10 attempts against Wisconsin (10/19) … Threw for 250 passing yards, going 23-of-35 with one touchdown, while adding 26 yards on the ground, in an overtime win at Purdue (11/2) … Tallied 201 passing yards while completing 21-for-35 (60.0%) of his throws in addition to rushing for a touchdown against Ohio State (11/16) … Lausch and Oregon’s Dillon Gabriel were the only two quarterbacks during the regular season to throw for 200+ yards against the Buckeyes … Threw for a career high 287 yards and two touchdowns, while adding 22 rushing yards on five carries in the season finale vs. Illinois at Wrigley Field (11/30)

Played in 10 games, completing 2-of-3 passes for 10 yards, totaling 19 carries for 80 yards and one touchdown, while adding two catches for nine yards … Named Academic All-Big Ten … Rushed four times for 56 yards, including a career-long 46-yard carry, and scored his first-career touchdown against UTEP (9/9) … His 46-yard carry marked the longest run by a Wildcat since Stephon Robinson Jr.’s 49-yard rush against Wisconsin on Nov. 13, 2021 … Completed a pass, caught two passes for nine yards, and rushed three times for seven yards against Minnesota (9/23) … Ran two times for six yards against Iowa (11/4) … Tallied two carries for eight yards in win over Illinois (11/25)
