Michael Conway joined Northwestern Athletics in August of 2018. He serves as Director of Recruiting Content on Head Coach Pat Fitzgerald’s football staff.
Conway came to NU from the United States Naval Academy, where he served as the Director of Football Creative Design. Prior to his time at Navy, Conway previously worked at Virginia Tech as a recruiting assistant and graphic designer. Conway was also the Interim Assistant Director of Football and Recruiting Operations at Boise State University. He served as the head graphic designer and assisted with on-campus recruiting and social media. The Broncos signed the top recruiting class in the Mountain West Conference in 2017.
For the 2015 season, Conway was an Assistant Football Coach at Maine Maritime Academy, a current Division III member of the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC), working with the outside linebackers.
A native of Vienna, Virginia, Conway graduated from Virginia Tech in 2015 with his bachelor’s degree in both Human Resources Management and Marketing Management.
