Northwestern Athletics Fan COVID-19 Policies

General Updates (as of March 1, 2022)

Beginning Tuesday, March 1, 2022, in accordance with updated guidance from Northwestern University and the City of Evanston, masking will be optional for all Wildcats Athletics events. In addition, proof of vaccination will no longer be required to enter Northwestern Athletics and Recreation facilities and venues.

Northwestern remains a highly vaccinated and boosted community that has effectively managed COVID-19 spread on campus. As the number of hospitalizations due to COVID-19 falls nationall and regionally, the University makes these decisions in partnership with our public health and medical advisors. Northwestern continues to monitor the campus health environment closely, as well as the trajectory of the pandemic, and will make adjustments to masking guidance and other mitigation strategies as needed in consultation with health advisors.
