ADA Parking, Transportation

ADA parking will be available in every lot.  ADA transportation is available from all campus parking lots by golf cart. If assistance is needed for any reason, please ask your nearest parking attendant, event staff member, or fan services representative. 

ADA Seating

ADA seating is available in the North, South, and West bleachers of Martin Stadium. If a guest needs to be relocated onsite/on gameday, please stop by the ticket office/will call for additional information located in the North and South entrances of the facility. 

Alcoholic Beverages

Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted to be brought into Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium. 

Alcohol sales are offered inside Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium. The following items are important to note in regard to alcohol sales: Guests possessing alcohol who do not have proof of being at least 21 years of age or guests passing alcohol to minors will be ejected and are subject to arrest. 

Alcohol sales will end at the end of the third quarter (Q3). If deemed necessary, alcohol sales may be cut off at any time. The facility reserves the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any guest. 

Automobile Trouble

A guest who experiences automobile trouble while parked in a University lot should contact a University police officer or call the University Police at (847) 491-3456. In an emergency, call 911. 
 
Baby Changing Stations/Mother’s Room

For private accommodations, guests will have access to a mother’s room located in the Southwest corner of the stadium, in between the South and West stands.  

Bag Policy

Each ticket holder can bring in one large clear bag, either a one-gallon Ziploc-style bag or a 12 by 6 by 12 clear bag, plus a small clutch. The larger clear bag must be a standard 12 by 6 by 12 bag made of clear PVC vinyl and is easily searched. The one-gallon Ziploc-style bag is readily available, inexpensive and easily searched. Banners & Signs

Banners and signs are prohibited. Guests will be asked to dispose of signs and banners in trash containers or return them to their vehicle. 

Bikes

Bike racks can be found across the Evanston Campus. Those closest to the lakefront venue are located on campus drive, along the south side of the Henry Crown Sports Pavilion, around the Frances Searle building, and on the west side of the circle drive in front of the Kellogg Global Hub. For those who wish to take a Divvy bike, Divvy Stations can be found across Evanston. On Northwestern’s campus there are three, located at: 

·        NE corner of the parking lot across from Tech, 2145 Sheridan

·        East side of University Library, between the Library and Norris University Center 

·        East side of Allison Hall, on Chicago Avenue, just south of Sheridan Road
 

 
Cameras

Hand-held still cameras are permitted for personal use. Cameras with large lenses and video cameras are prohibited. Camera lenses cannot be longer than six inches, anything longer will not be allowed into the stadium. Any commercial photography is prohibited. Event Staff members are authorized to evict guests violating these photographic policies. 
 
Chairbacks

Personal chairbacks with metal frames, enclosed pockets (mesh pockets are permissible) or in a zippered case are not permitted in Martin Stadium. Seat cushions can be brought into the stadium so long as the dimensions fit entirely within the ticket-holders allotted seat and does not inhibit other guests in any way. 

Children and Infant Ticket Policy 
All persons, regardless of age, must hold a ticket.
 
Concessions
Concessions stands are available under the West stands, Southwest corner, and in each beer garden located within the facility. All concessions are cashless.  

Directions

From Chicago or South Suburbs: Take either Lake Shore Drive (recommended) or I-90/94 (Dan Ryan to the Kennedy). 

From Southwest Suburbs and O'Hare International Airport: Take I-294 North. Exit on Dempster Street east and proceed several miles until you reach I-94. Take I-94 West and exit and turn right on Old Orchard Road. Proceed east and turn left on Gross Point Road. Take the next right on Central Street and head east approximately three miles to Sheridan Road. Turn right, then turn left at the next stop light, which is Lincoln. Follow Lincoln around a right-hand curve.  

Alternative South Route: If you go the Lake Shore Drive route, Follow LSD until it ends and merges with Sheridan Road. Take Sheridan north through Evanston (follow the signs as Sheridan winds through south Evanston). Turn right on Lincoln Street at the north end of NU's campus. Follow Lincoln around a right-hand curve. 

From the North: Take I-94 (Edens) East. Exit on Skokie Blvd. And turn left at stop light at Lake Avenue. Go east on Lake to Green Bay Road. Turn right and proceed south to Central Street. Turn left and go east approximately 1.5 miles to Sheridan Road. Turn right, then turn left at the next stop light, which is Lincoln. Follow Lincoln around a right-hand curve. 

Emergency Procedures 

In the event of an emergency, please follow the directions from ushers. If an emergency requires evacuation from the stadium, directions will be given over the public address system. Please contact an usher if you have any questions. 

Elevators 

Elevators are only located in the Southwest corner of the field/west bleachers. An additional ADA lift is located on the South Stands to reach any/all seating and south suite levels. 

Entrances 

All entrances to Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium are street level and accessible for persons with disabilities. Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium has a clear bag only policy. Bags containing materials needed due to a medical condition are allowed but will have to be bag checked and properly tagged upon entry. 
 
Fan Services Booths (Wintrust Fan Service Stations) 

Fan Services Booths (Wintrust Fan Service Stations) can be found in each of the North and South Beer Gardens, in the Northeast corner behind the North Stands, and across the street from the main gates of Martin Stadium within the facility.  
 
First Aid 

First Aid can be found in the Northeast corner behind the North Stands, and the entrance of the South gate and in the Southeast corner next to the South stands. 
 
Gates Open 

Gates open 90 minutes prior to kickoff. Fan entry is only permitted through either the North or South Gate entrances. Fans may enter through the South Gate starting 2.5 hours prior to kickoff to take advantage of the South Beer Garden amenities but access to the seating areas will remain restricted until 90 minutes prior to kickoff. 

Guest Conduct 

Northwestern Wildcats football should be an enjoyable experience for all fans. To promote athletic excellence and fan enjoyment, we ask for your assistance in always displaying a high degree of respect and sportsmanship. If a patron displays conduct which endangers or disrupts players, coaches, officials, or other patrons, Northwestern University reserves the right to remove the individual from Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium. No refunds will be granted in such cases. 

Lost & Found 

Lost items may be turned into Fan Services Booths. All unclaimed items remaining after gameday will be turned into the NU Athletic Facilities Office at Ryan Fieldhouse 847-467-7736,  2333 Campus Drive | Evanston, IL 60208 

Merchandise 

Grab all your favorite Wildcats merchandise at the Northwestern Athletics Merchandise stands, presented by Gameday Spirit. Stands are located by the South Bleachers and Cook Hall parking lot. Under Armour is the official outfitter of the 'Cats. Pick up the latest gear inside the stadium, or at Gameday Spirit (1805 Central Street, Evanston, IL), the official merchandiser of Northwestern Athletics. Shop online here.  

On-field Access 

Only authorized personnel will be permitted on the field before, during, or after a game. Any unauthorized person going onto the field will be removed from the stadium and subject to arrest. 
 
Parking 

Lots on campus open four hours prior to kick-off. These lots are permit only and will be checked and scanned upon arrival. Please reference our gameday maps for additional information regarding specific locations and which parking lot has been assigned.

Public Transportation

CTA Bus and Rail 

Those taking the bus from the south parking lots can hop on Route 201 and get off at Sheridan & Lincoln or Sheridan & Haven to get to the game. CTA Purple Line service is also available for easy access to the stadium. Get off at Noyes and walk along Noyes Street to the east until reaching Sheridan Road and follow signs for the stadium.

Metra 

Those taking the Metra to the game can take the Union Pacific North Line to Evanston/Central St then head east on Central St towards Sheridan Rd, following the Northwestern Football signs once there. 

Bus route 201 also picks up at Central Street & Broadway/Poplar and Central Street & Eastwood and drops off at Sheridan & Lincoln and Sheridan & Haven to get to the game 

Prohibited Items 

Common items that spectators are prohibited from bringing into Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium include, but are not limited to: 
*Bags other than those allowed under Northwestern's Clear Bag Policy 
*Alcoholic beverages 
*Umbrellas 
*Noisemakers including cowbells, musical instruments or horns 
*Banners, flags, or signs 
*Video cameras, televisions, large lens cameras, tripods, or large radios 
*Cans, glasses, thermoses, picnic baskets, ice chests, wine skins, food, drinks or coolers 
*Outside food and beverage 

Storage of these items for guests will not be provided. 

Recycling Bins 

Guests are encouraged to recycle their soda and water bottles in the recycling bins throughout the stadium. Recycling bins are also located throughout the parking lots for those tailgating. 

Re-entry 

Patrons who choose to leave during the game will not be allowed to re-enter. 

Relocation Policy 

NU Athletics reserves the right to enforce reserved seating if crowd control or safety issues dictate the necessity. The University reserves the right to relocate ticket holder(s) to an alternate seat location(s) at its discretion based upon conduct, apparel or other reasons. 

Restrooms 

Restrooms are located throughout Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium. 

Service Dogs 

Animals are not permitted within with the exception of certified service dogs for guests with disabilities. Please contact the Northwestern Ticket Office at 888-GO-PURPLE (467-8775) to make arrangements prior to the game. 

Smoking 

Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere at Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium. Guests who choose to leave Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium to smoke will not be allowed to re-enter. We ask for your cooperation in enforcing this policy. 

Strollers 

Strollers are allowed in Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium, but not in the seating area. Strollers may be left at Stroller valet is provided free of charge and is located at the south gate.  

Tailgating 

Tailgating is permitted in the Noyes/Haven, Northwestern Place, Library Place and Locy lots. Season ticket holder parking lots open four hours before each home game. Umbrellas 

Umbrellas are not permitted at Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium. There will be no umbrella check available to guests. 

Video Cameras

Video cameras are not permitted in Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium and no storage will be provided for guests. Video cameras are not permitted due to contractual obligations between the Big Ten Conference and television networks. 

Will Call

(Open 3 hours prior to kickoff)

Everyone must have a Photo ID in order to pick up Will Call and Player Guest Tickets. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. Third party will call (ticket drop offs) ARE NOT accepted. The general will call windows for football game are located outside the south gate and in the Henry Crown lobby. Visitor player guest tickets are located at Henry Crown lobby. Press will call is located at Henry Crown lobby.
