Welsh-Ryan Arena Bag Policy

 
Fans attending basketball games at Welsh Ryan Arena are encouraged to arrive early and travel light.
 
All bags will be inspected by security personnel. If you must bring items in a purse or bag, please allow extra time to proceed through the designated security lines. Bags that have passed inspection must be able to fit comfortably at your feet. Guests are encouraged to leave all bags at home in order to expedite entry into the facility.  No “bag check” will be provided.

The following items may not be brought in to Welsh-Ryan Arena:
 
  • Food
  • Weapons
  • Laser Pointers
  • Oversized Bags (i.e. Large Backpacks and oversized bags that interfere with the comfort of those around you are prohibited.) 
  • Long lens and video cameras
  • Seatbacks
  • Noisemakers or other irritants
  • Signs that block the view of others (Signs of an acceptable size must have acceptable content; “Acceptable content” is at the sole discretion of Northwestern Athletics)

Guests are encouraged to leave all bags at home in order to expedite entry into the facility.  No “bag check” for items listed above will be provided.
