Student-athletes are permitted to work, and be paid for that work, provided the following conditions are met:

  1. The student-athlete is paid only for work actually performed;
  2. They are paid the "going rate" in that locale for similar services (a student-athlete may not be paid based on their athletics reputation or notoriety);
  3. They employer does not use the student-athlete's name, picture or likeness to promote their business or commercial efforts; and
  4. They submit a signed, complete employment/internship form (link) to the Athletics Compliance Office prior to starting work.
