Sullivan’s Career Finish Powers ‘Cats to Fifth at Colleton River Collegiate

BLUFFTON, S.C. (March 2, 2026) – Led by a season-high finish for Rowan Sullivan, the Northwestern men's golf team concluded the Colleton River Collegiate in fifth place.
The Wildcats began the week with a combined score of 296, before shaving 14 strokes off in their second round to shoot a seven-under-par 281. The 'Cats finished the week with a two-under 286, good for a 54-hole score of 862 (296-281-286).
Competing in his home-state of South Carolina, Charleston native Rowan Sullivan opened his week with a one-under 71 before firing a four-under 68 in his second round. Sullivan concluded the event with a one-under 71 in his final round, good for a share of third place for his highest career finish as a Wildcat.
Joining Sullivan under par was Daniel Svärd, who carded a five-under 67 in his second round to finish the week at one-under-par for a share of fifteenth. Mark Gazi fired a two-under 70 in his final round to place tied for 39th while Jeremy Chen carded an even-par 72 in his final round to place in 48th. Rounding out the starting lineup was Ethan Tseng, who placed tied for 69th.
On the individual side, Monty Holcombe claimed his highest finish of the season in 19th at even-par, while Isaac Lee placed in 79th.
