'Cats Return Home This Weekend, Host Schiller Duals

Northwestern to clash with four ranked foes across two-day event at Ryan Fieldhouse
EVANSTON, Ill. (January 30, 2026) – Currently riding a 10-match win streak in dual competition, No. 6 Northwestern fencing will return to the friendly confines of Ryan Fieldhouse this weekend to play host to the Schiller Duals.
The 'Cats will begin action on Saturday with a packed seven-dual slate that includes ranked clashes with No. 2 Notre Dame, No. 11 Stanford, and No. 14 Temple. A matchup with Central Collegiate Fencing Conference rival No. 7 Ohio State highlights Sunday's schedule, which will see the Wildcats honor their senior class in a special ceremony at 12:50 p.m. CT.
Admission to both days of the Schiller Duals is free of charge. A full meet schedule follows, along with links to watch live.

In its most recent action, Northwestern posted a sparkling 4-0 record en route to capturing the team title at the Tufts Invitational on January 19 in Medford, Mass. The 'Cats, who posted a 10-2 record across all three weapons, closed the meet with a 14-13 win over No. 12 Cornell.
On the individual front, four Wildcats finished with undefeated records, a quartet that included Brianna Ho (8-0), Samantha Serban (6-0), Megumi Oishi (6-0), and Nisha Hild (3-0). Led by Ho and Serban, Northwestern's foil squad finished with a perfect 4-0 mark.

Ahead of the start of postseason competition, Northwestern will send select student-athletes to USA Fencing's February North American Cup (NAC).
