EVANSTON (August 11, 2026) – Northwestern head men’s golf coach David Inglis unveiled the Wildcats’ schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 season Tuesday morning. The ‘Cats are slated to take part in a 10-event regular season ahead of postseason play in April.
Northwestern will open the new season at the Folds of Honor Collegiate, September 7-9, in Grand Haven, Mich., before returning to Illinois for the Olympia Fields Fighting Illini Classic, September 18-20, in Olympia Fields, Ill.

Following the Olympia Fields Fighting Illini Collegiate, the ‘Cats return home to host the Windon Memorial Classic at Onwentsia Club in Lake Forest, Ill., September 28-29.
The ‘Cats will hit the road for the month of October, competing at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate, October 16-18, in Alpharetta, Ga., before heading west for the Preserve Golf Club Collegiate, October 26-27, to close out the fall slate in Carmel, Ca.
Inglis’ squad will raise the curtain on the spring season in Mountain Lake, Fla., where they will face Michigan State in the annual Gantner Cup, January 30. The ‘Cats have previously won the event in the past three seasons and will be chasing a fourth straight title.
Following the Gantner Cup, the Wildcats travel back out west for the Prestige, February 15-17, taking on the Norman Course at PGA West in LA Quinta, Ca.
Northwestern will kick off the month of March in the Palmetto State, competing in the Colleton River Collegiate, March 7-8, in Bluffton, S.C., before returning to the West Coast for the Goodwin, March 25-27, in Palo Alto.
Following the Goodwin, the ‘Cats will conclude the regular season at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial, April 12-13, in Charlottesville, Va.
Northwestern will begin postseason play at the Big Ten Championships, April 23-25, hosted this season at Baltusrol Golf Club in Summit, N.J. NCAA Regionals are set for May 17-19, while the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa will play host to the NCAA Championships, May 28-June 2, in Carlsbad, Ca.
Inglis is set to return six letterwinners from the previous season, while also welcoming first-years Carter Gaede, Kuan Zhou and Carl Möller.
