CARLSBAD, Ca. (May, 25, 2026) – After advancing to the final round of stroke play for the third consecutive season, Northwestern women's golf's season came to a close on Monday at the NCAA Championship Finals.

The Wildcats concluded the 72-hole event with a combined score of 1,177 strokes (290-292-294-301), rising to fourteenth place on the final day of competition. The 'Cats finished ahead of eight teams ranked in the top-25Â of the most recent Clippd poll.

Leading the charge for the Wildcats was Dianna Lee, whose Northwestern career came to a close on Monday. The 2023 Big Ten Freshman of the Year opened her week with a 2-over-par, but carded a round of par or better in next three rounds.Â

With her teammates and coaches watching, Lee closed out her round by birdieing the 18th hole to finish with an even-par 72, placing in a share of 18th at 1-under.

Ashley Yun was the next-highest finisher for the 'Cats, carding her highest round of the week with a 3-under 69 on Friday to place in a share of 53rd. Lauren E. Lee, competing in her first-ever NCAA Championship Finals, placed in a share of 58th at 10-over while Megan Meng placed one stroke behind her in 64th. Rounding out the lineup was Hsin Tai Lin, who rose 52 places on the leaderboard to finish in 82nd.
