EVANSTON, Ill. (May 10, 2026) – Northwestern returns to the NCAA Regionals for the sixteenth consecutive season, competing this week as the No. 6 seed at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional. The event runs from Monday (May 11) through Wednesday (May 13), with first round action set to get underway beginning at 7 a.m. CT.Â

The Wildcats return to NCAA Regionals on the back of a second-place finish at the NCAA Norman Regional in Norman, Okla. the season prior. The 'Cats finished the event at 14-under-par, with Ashley Yun pacing the team at 7-under for a runner-up finish. The result propelled the Wildcats to the NCAAÂ Championships in Carlsbad, Calif., where they went on to win the program's first National Championship.

No. 6 seeded Northwestern joins a 12-team field alongside No. 1 USC, No. 2 Duke, No. 3 Central Florida, No. 4 Oklahoma, No. 5 Ohio State, No. 7 Kansas, No. 8 Texas Tech, No. 9 UNLV, No. 10 Columbia, No. 11 Quinnipiac and No. 12 Oakland, with individuals from Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, IU Indianapolis and Grand Canyon.
