Men’s Golf Prepares for Windon Memorial Classic

EVANSTON, Ill. (September 28, 2025) – After advancing to match play at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup, Northwestern men's golf returns home to host the Windon Memorial Classic in Lake Forest, Illinois.
The Wildcats open play with 36-holes on Monday beginning with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. CT. Tuesday's final round at Knollwood Club will get underway with the first tee time set for 8:00 a.m. CT.
The Field
Northwestern welcomes a 16-team field consisting of ETSU, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Marquette, Michigan State, Minnesota, New Mexico, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oral Roberts, Purdue, SMU, USF and UC Davis.

Live scoring for the Windon Memorial Classic will be available both days on Scoreboard.

Last Time Out
Northwestern surged in the final round of the Jackson T. Stephens Cup, claiming the final place in the match play event. The Wildcats would be defeated by Arizona to claim fourth place at the event.
Daniel Svärd claimed his first Top-5 finish of the season, taking third place while teammate Rowan Sullivan finished a stroke back in seventh. Joining them in red figures was Jeremy Chen, who placed in 16th at even par.

Following the Windon Memorial Classic, the Wildcats head south for the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational, October 19-20, in Vero Beach, Florida.
