EVANSTON, Ill. — Northwestern football is set to host Holy Cross at Ryan Field on September 4, 2027, the two programs announced on Thursday.
The contest will be the Wildcats' first-ever meeting with the Crusaders.
Northwestern's 2027 nonconference slate is now finalized. After taking on Holy Cross, the Wildcats will travel to Boulder, Colo. to face off against Colorado on September 11, capping off a home-and-home with the Buffaloes. The 'Cats will then return home to host East Carolina on September 18, which the programs announced last month.
The game adds to a future slate that will welcome fans to the state-of-the-art New Ryan Field, set to open in 2026. All current and new season ticket holders will continue to receive priority for seating selections in the new stadium. To learn more and become an Insider, visit www.newryanfield.com.
