Northwestern Football Announces Early Season Kick Times and TV Networks

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern and the Big Ten Conference, in partnership with television partners, unveiled kickoff times and network designations for several 2025 football games on the Wildcats' upcoming schedule.

Game Times and TV Designations Announced for Northwestern:
  • Saturday, August 30 // Northwestern at Tulane // 11 am CT // ESPNU
  • Friday, September 5 // Western Illinois at Northwestern // 6:30 pm CT // Big Ten Network
  • Saturday, September 13 // Oregon at Northwestern // 11 am CT // FOX
  • Friday, November 7 // Northwestern at USC // 8 pm CT // FOX
     

 Two of Northwestern's games for this 2025 season have been flexed to Friday night matchups, with the Wildcats' home opener vs. Western Illinois moving to Friday, September 5 with kickoff at 6:30 pm CT.
 
In addition, Northwestern will travel to USC on Friday, November 7 to face USC in what marks the first matchup between the programs since the 1996 Rose Bowl. Kickoff from Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum will be at 8 pm CT/6 pm PT, televised nationally on FOX.
 
Northwestern will welcome defending Big Ten champion Oregon to Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium on Saturday, September 13. The Wildcats and Ducks will kick off at 11 am CT in front of a national audience on FOX.
 
The Wildcats will open their 2025 season on Saturday, August 30 as they travel to New Orleans to face off against Tulane at 12 pm ET/11 am CT on ESPNU.
 
Northwestern's 2025 schedule features seven home contests in the 12-game slate. The Wildcats will play their first five home games at Northwestern Medicine Field at Martin Stadium, the temporary on-campus facility along the shore of Lake Michigan. Two late-season home games will take place at Wrigley Field in Chicago, when the Wildcats return to the Friendly Confines.
 
Season tickets for the 2025 campaign are on sale now. Season ticket holders will also receive priority to purchase tickets for games at Wrigley Field.
