Wildcats’ league slate to feature nine home contests
ROSEMONT, Ill. (April 30, 2025) – The Big Ten Conference announced its home and away opponents for the 2025-26 women's basketball season on Wednesday. Northwestern and its 17 league foes will play an 18-game conference slate, featuring nine contests at home and nine on the road.
In-state rival Illinois will serve as the Wildcats' lone home-and-home series, with Iowa, Michigan, Ohio State, Purdue, Rutgers, UCLA, USC, and Wisconsin also set to visit Welsh-Ryan Arena. Northwestern's road schedule includes trips to Indiana, Maryland, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oregon, Penn State, and Washington.
The complete 2025-26 Big Ten Conference schedule will be released at a later date. For a second consecutive season, the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament will be hosted at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind.
