
'Cats Host Hawkeyes for Big Ten Series

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern resumes Big Ten play when it returns home this weekend for a three-game series against Iowa at Rocky and Berenice Miller Park.

INF Trent Liolios hit a 10th-inning go-ahead home run, his 13th of the season, to put the 'Cats up 2-1 before RHP Sam Hliboki slammed the door in the bottom of the 10th to seal the victory. Liolios' 13 home runs are tied for most in the Big Ten and rank fifth nationally.
The Wildcats earned their second-consecutive series win for the first time since April 1-10, 2022 after winning two games at Maryland last weekend.
