EVANSTON, Ill. - Tickets for the 2025 ITA National Team Indoor Championships at Combe Tennis Center are now on sale! The tournament, which will be hosted from February 7-11 in Evanston, will showcase some of the nation's top women's tennis programs as they compete for the team title.
The ITA Indoor Championships have been held each year since 1988, and just ten schools have claimed the title at least once. The Wildcats themselves earned back-to-back ITA Indoor titles in 2009 and 2010 under the guidance of head coach Claire Pollard, defeating Georgia and North Carolina respectively. The feat makes Northwestern one of six schools to have earned team titles in consecutive seasons.
Following a remodel of the tournament's format, the 'Cats will host half of the 16 competing teams in the first round of the weekend event this February. The University of Illinois will host the other side of the bracket through the quarterfinals, then both semifinal matches - as well as the championship match - will be played in Evanston. As hosts, Northwestern and Illinois earn automatic qualification to the round of 16. The remaining 14 schools will be decided based upon the winners of ITA Kickoff Weekend, held at various campus sites from January 24-27, 2025.
Fans wishing to attend the 2025 ITA Indoor Championships at Combe can purchase single-day tickets for $10 each. An all-sessions pass that provides access to all five days of tournament action is available for $35. Both ticket types are available now for purchase through the Northwestern ticket office by clicking here!
Prior to the tournament, Northwestern women's tennis begins their 2025 dual season with three home matches in January. The 'Cats face Butler on Saturday, January 18, to open their dual season, then host DePaul and Eastern Illinois in a doubleheader on Sunday, January 26. Admission to regular-season Northwestern tennis matches is free and open to the public.
