EVANSTON, Ill. - Three Northwestern men's basketball alums will be playing in the upcoming NBA 2K26 Summer League in Las Vegas, Nevada, from July 10-20. Brooks Barnhizer (Oklahoma City Thunder), Boo Buie (Denver Nuggets), and Pete Nance (Milwaukee Bucks) will participate in the annual event.
Each team will play four games between July 10-17. After that, the teams with the four best records will advance to a bracket stage, which will begin on July 19. The two winners of the semifinals will advance to the finals on July 20, which will begin at 9 p.m. CT. Meanwhile, all other teams will play an additional consolation game. All games will air on an ESPN platform or NBA TV.

Four former Wildcats will be on the sidelines as assistant coaches during the Summer League. Jordan Ash (2015-19) will work with the Phoenix Suns, while former graduate assistant Mike Greenman (2018-20) will be with the Chicago Bulls. Ryan Greer (2019-22) joins Barnhizer in Oklahoma City, fresh off an NBA title. Sanjay Lumpkin (2012-17) will assist with the Atlanta Hawks.
