Northwestern Men’s Basketball Announces 2024-25 Big Ten Schedule

EVANSTON Ill. – The Northwestern men's basketball team announced its 2024-25 Big Ten Conference schedule on Thursday afternoon. The Wildcats will open conference action at Iowa on Tuesday, Dec. 3, and begin home Big Ten contests against Illinois on Friday, Dec. 6.

The Wildcats complete home slate includes league games against Illinois, Michigan State, Maryland, Indiana, Rutgers, Wisconsin, USC, Nebraska, Iowa and UCLA, and non-conference matchups against Lehigh, UIC, Eastern Illinois, Montana State, Pepperdine, DePaul and Northeastern.
The home finale will take place on Monday, March 3 against UCLA.
The Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament returns to Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind. this season from March 12-16, 2025.
Tip times and television networks will be announced at a later date.

Last season, Northwestern finished third in the Big Ten Conference, tying a single-season school-record by winning 12 games in conference play. Under the leadership of Sullivan-Ubben Head Men's Basketball Coach Chris Collins, the 'Cats reached the NCAA Tournament's Second Round for the second straight season and finished with a 22-12 record.
