Big Ten Announces Men’s Basketball Conference Opponents for 2024-25

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten Conference revealed its men's basketball conference matchups for the 2024-25 season on Wednesday.

Northwestern and its league counterparts will again play a 20-game schedule. Each school's conference slate includes three home-and-home series, while playing seven different opponents both home and on the road. The Wildcats will battle Illinois, Iowa and Maryland in home-and-home series this upcoming season.

Northwestern will also host Indiana, Michigan State, Nebraska, Rutgers, UCLA, USC and Wisconsin inside Welsh-Ryan Arena, and travel to Michigan, Minnesota, Oregon, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue and Washington.

Last season, Northwestern finished third in the Big Ten, tying a single-season school-record by winning 12 games in conference play. Under the leadership of Sullivan-Ubben Head Men's Basketball Coach Chris Collins, the 'Cats reached the NCAA Tournament's Second Round for the second straight season and finished with a 22-12 record.

Game dates and times, TV assignments and non-conference opponents will be released at a later date.
