EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern's Kansas Robinson was named the Big Ten Player of the Week following a dominant showing at Sharon J. Drysdale Field this past week to kick off the Wildcats' Big Ten season.

The sophomore phenom homered in all three of the Wildcats' games against the Spartans, combining for 16 total bases and a team-leading 2.667 slugging percentage.

Robinson recorded three hits and a run scored in Wednesday's 7-1 win over DePaul, her team-high third three-hit game of the season. She followed that performance up on Saturday by reaching base four times in the 'Cats' 7-1 win over Michigan State to kick off conference play, going 1-for-2 with three walks, two runs scored and a solo home run.

To finish the week off on a Sunday doubleheader, Robinson went 3-for-3 with a single, double, home run and three RBI in an 11-3 run-rule win in game one. She then hit another solo home run in the second half of the doubleheader en route to a 4-0 win.
