Northwestern Begins Spring Break Trip at UTSA

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern Baseball heads to Texas to begin its eight-game Spring Break trip. The road swing commences with a three-game series at UTSA, beginning with a doubleheader on Saturday, March 16 and one game on Sunday, March 17. Sunday's game will be streamed on ESPN+.

Louisville Recap
After dropping the first two games of the series, Northwestern defeated Louisville 6-3 on Sunday, March 10 to avoid the sweep, snapping UL's 10-game win streak. Kyle Potthoff earned the start for the Wildcats, allowing two hits and one walk while striking out four in five scoreless innings. First-year Jackson Freeman went 4-for-10 in the series with two runs and two RBI, extending his reached base streak to 13 games.
