EVANSTON, Ill. – Head Coach Claire Pollard rounded out her 2024 signing class with the addition of Mika Dagan Fruchtman, the program announced Friday. Fruchtman will join Erica Jessel and Maia Loureiro in Pollard's first year class for fall of 2024.

Fruchtman comes to the Wildcats out of Ra'anana, Israel, where she captured three national titles in four years during her high school career. After winning the Under 16 title as a freshman, she followed up with back-to-back Under 18 national titles her junior and senior seasons. In addition to her tennis accolades, Fruchtman also finished first in the country in the 800m as a runner and received a Certificate of Academic Excellence for each of her four years of high school.
Pollard on Fruchtman: "To say we are thrilled to have Mika join the program would be an understatement. She has a gregarious, fun-loving zest for life, people and tennis. She will bring energy, enthusiasm, and great skill to our program. Ellyse, Georgia and I look forward to helping develop her game and to watching her excel in the classroom."

Fruchtman on Northwestern: "I chose Northwestern because it has an exceptional balance between rigorous academics and competitive athletics."
