Wildcats Compete at B1G Duals in West Lafayette

Evanston, Ill.- Northwestern women's swimming and diving finished with a win and two losses, topping Iowa 194-172 while falling to Minnesota (119-249) and Purdue (156-212).

Ayla Spitz continued her strong 2023-24 campaign, picking up wins in the 200 Free with an NCAA 'B' qualifying time of 1:44.96, and in the 200 Back with a NCAA 'B' qualifying time of 1:54.27.

Lindsay Ervin captured two events, notching a win in the 50 Free with a time of 22.70 and taking the 100 Free with a NCAA 'B' qualifying time of 49.31.

The Wildcat men fell to Minnesota (150-221) and Purdue (175-197), despite a number of strong individual performances.

Andrew Martin captured the 1000 Free with a time of 8:52.28.

Tyler Lu claimed a win in the 100 Breast with a time of 53.66, and finished first in the 200 IM with a time of 1:46.78.

David Gerchik snagged first place in the 200 Back with an NCAA 'B' qualifying time of 1:43.89.

Connor Morikawa won the 200 Breast with an NCAA 'B' qualifying time of 1:57:11.
