EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern Women's Basketball is back home at Welsh-Ryan Arena to take on Purdue on Wednesday in their annual Play4Kay game benefiting the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. The Valentine's Day matchup starts at 7 p.m. CT on B1G+.

Last week, the 'Cats faced Illinois on the road, falling short 71-82. However, three 'Cats scored  in double digits including Maggie Pina (15), Paige Mott (13) and Hailey Weaver (10). Paige Mott got a team-high nine rebounds and Northwestern's defense forced 13 Illinois turnovers. Pina's 15 were her most points scored as a Wildcat.

Northwestern and Purdue enter Wednesday's matchup with an even conference record of 3-9 each. Purdue has dropped eight of their last nine, including a 62-95 loss against No. 14 Indiana last time out. The 'Cats and the Boilermakers faced off twice last season, with Purdue coming out on top of both meetings.

In the Big Ten, Melannie Daley is now ranked No. 8 in field goal percentage (.490), which is third among conference guards. Caileigh Walsh is No. 9 in free throw percentage (.843), No. 19 in rebounds and No. 24 in points, averaging 12.7 points per game. Paige Mott is ranked No. 21 in rebounds, and Maggie Pina is No. 24 in 3-pointers per game.

After finishing up with Purdue, the 'Cats head to Minneapolis to take on the Golden Gophers on Saturday in the first of back-to-back road games. Tip off from Williams Arena is set to take place at 2 p.m. CT and is available to watch on B1G+.
