Men's Tennis Home to Host Oregon, No. 8 Duke, UIC

EVANSTON, Ill. - Following a weekend that saw the 'Cats go 1-1 at the ITA Kickoff, Northwestern Men's Tennis returns home to play three matches this weekend.
On Friday, the 'Cats will take on Oregon at the Combe Tennis Center. Oregon is 3-2 on the year with victories over Purdue, Pacific, and Seattle. The Ducks make one appearance in the ITA's singles rankings: Quinn Vandecasteele at No. 66.
The 'Cats then have a doubleheader on Sunday, taking on No. 8 Duke at 12 p.m. CT and UIC at 6 p.m. CT. Duke heads to Evanston with a 5-0 record while UIC enters the weekend at 1-2. Duke places Pedro Rodenas in the ITA's single rankings at No. 21 while Andrew Zhang and Michael Heller rank No. 14 in the doubles rankings.
During last weekend's 4-2 victory over Ole Miss at the ITA Kickoff, Presley Thieneman, Saiprakash Goli, and Felix Nordby all picked up wins at the #2, #3, and #4 spots respectively. Greyson Casey also picked up his second straight victory with a tiebreak win at the #5 spot.
Following this weekend's action, the 'Cats will stay home for a matchup against Alabama on Friday, February 9th and a doubleheader against Clemson and IUPUI on Sunday, February 11th.
