'Cats Continue Road Trip at Indiana

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern is back in action on Sunday, traveling to Bloomington to face Indiana inside Wilkinson Hall. First serve between the 'Cats (4-13, 2-5 B1G) and the Hoosiers (9-9, 2-6 B1G) is set for 6:30 pm C.T. on Big Ten Network.

Northwestern returns home on Friday for a rematch with in-state rival Illinois inside Welsh-Ryan Arena. First serve between the 'Cats and Illini is set for 7 pm C.T. on B1G+.
STORYLINES:
- Buse Hazan returned to the lineup against Minnesota after a game off and dominated at the net for the Wildcats, posting 14 kills to lead the team for the ninth time this season. She also chipped in seven digs, good for second most on the squad.
- Junior Kennedy Hill has also been a force at the net for Northwestern, and she recorded her 200th career block against Minnesota. Hill ranks first on the team in blocks this season with 79, and third in kills with 120. Her mark of 1.23 blocks per set ranks 11th in the Big Ten and 69th in the nation.
- Grad student Alexa Rousseau has done it all for the 'Cats this season, leading the team in kills seven times on the year, while recording double-digit assists in all but one match and putting up nine double-doubles. She comes off a game at Minnesota where she led the team with 14 assists and fell one dig short of another double-double.
THE MATCH-UP:
- Northwestern is 41-36 all-time versus Indiana, dating back to their inaugural meeting in 1978. The 'Cats and Hoosiers are deadlocked at 5-5 in their last ten meetings, and in their most recent matchup, the Wildcats prevailed, winning a five-set battle inside Welsh-Ryan Arena.
- The hosting Hoosiers enter play on Sunday with a solid 9-10 record. They have struggled in Big Ten play so far, most recently falling to 2-7 in conference action with a loss to No. 8 Wisconsin on Thursday.
