USTFCCCA EVENT SQUAD RANKINGS
- (4/10) The 'Cats debuted in Week 3 at No. 44 in the 5,000m rankings with an average time of 17:06.02.
- (4/17) In Week 4, Northwestern moved up 26 places to No. 18 in the Women's 5,000m with an average time of 16:23.03. This is the fastest 5K Event Squad Ranking in program history.
- (4/24) Northwestern was ranked No. 26 in the Women's 5,000m during Week 5.
- (5/1) In the Week 6 rankings, Northwestern moved up to No. 24 in the 5,000m and also entered the 10,000m rankings at No. 13.
- (5/8) Northwestern held at No. 24 in the 5,000m and No. 13 in the 10,000m rankings during Week 7 after not competing in either event in the preceding week.
RALEIGH RELAYS (March 23-25)
- Rachel McCardell broke the school record in the 10,000m with a time of 33:52.32. It was the fourth fastest time in the Big Ten and puts her in the top 20 performances in the NCAA.
- Kalea Bartolotto ran the fifth fastest time in the Big Ten, at 34:36.51.
- Ava Earl set a personal best in the 5,000m run with a time of 16:25.18. That ranked fourth all-time in school history and was the fourth fastest time in the Big Ten Conference this outdoor season.
ILLINI CHALLENGE (April 8)
- Anna Hightower won in the 1500m race with a time of 4:27.96, the fourth fastest time in program history.
- Katherine Hessler won the 5,000m race with a time of 17:02.42.
- Rachel McCardell set her fourth school record in the 5,000m with a time of 15:50.78. She now owns school records in the indoor mile and 3,000m and the outdoor 5,000m and 10,000m.
- Also in the 5,000m, Ava Earl ran the third fastest time in school history at 16:19.34, while Anna Hightower ran the fifth fastest time at 16:22.92, which qualifies her for the European Outdoor Track Championships.
- Kalea Bartolotto now owns five of the fastest top-10 performances in the 10,000m.
- Sophomore Fiona Lenth secured the tenth fastest time in program history for the Women's 10,000m with a time of 36:04.04.
- Junior Katherine Hessler finished first in the unseeded 5,000m race with a time of 16:57.31, her second first-place finish in the event this outdoor season.
- The 'Cats swept the first four placements in the 3,000m run; Katherine Hessler won the event, followed in order by Mia Mraz, Elizabeth Bulat and Whitney Currie.
- Deeotu Choudhury took first in the 1,500m run, completing the race in 4:44.29.
