Livermore Collects Three Hits in Loss to Texas State

SAN MARCOS, Texas -- Junior Tony Livermore totaled three hits, but the Northwestern Wildcats fell 24-9 on Sunday as the Texas State Bobcats completed the sweep in San Marcos.
Sophomore Grant Comstock (0-1) got the ball to start for Northwestern (0-3) and took the loss after two innings of work.
Livermore's three-hit day led the Wildcats offensively. Senior Stephen Hrustich furnished a noteworthy performance at the dish as well, going 2-for-3 with a double, a triple, two walks and two RBI. Junior Vincent Bianchina also chipped in for Northwestern, putting together two hits, including a triple, in five trips to the plate.
