SAN MARCOS, Texas -- Junior Tony Livermore totaled three hits, but the Northwestern Wildcats fell 24-9 on Sunday as the Texas State Bobcats completed the sweep in San Marcos.

The Bobcats used the long ball to expand their lead to 19-3 by the seventh inning before the Wildcats offense got back to work. Sophomore Andrew Pinkston came across to score the lone run of the inning for Northwestern, which brought the score to 19-4 in favor of the Bobcats.

Texas State kept adding on in the late innings, expanding their lead to 24-4 by the ninth.
