Evanston, Ill. - Northwestern women's basketball is back at home this Sunday to face Georgetown at Welsh Ryan Arena. Tip off between the two teams is set for 3 p.m. CT and will be streamed on Big Ten Network.

Leading the 'Cats is junior Hailey Weaver, who has scored in double digits in all seven games this season. This past Wednesday, she was explosive on both offense, with 20 points and five assists, and defense, with six rebounds, two blocks and two steals. Weaver is now the 'Cats' leading scorer at 13.7 points per game.

Alongside Weaver is first year guard Casey Harter, who has also had a major impact over the past few games. On Wednesday, Harter had a career game with 14 points, three assists, and 35 minutes played. The guard was unstoppable at shooting, going 6-of-7 from the field, including the first two three-point makes of her college career.

The 'Cats (3-4) and the Hoyas (6-1) will face off for the second time in program history. Their only previous meeting came in November of 2017, when Georgetown came away with a 55-54 win at the Challenge in Music City.

After Sunday's game, Northwestern will be on the road to open Big Ten play against the Maryland Terrapins in College Park, MD. That game is set to tip off at 12 p.m. CT and will be streamed on B1G+.
