Wildcats Basketball Ranked No. 25 in AP Poll

EVANSTON, Ill. – The Northwestern men's basketball team has been ranked No. 25 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll released on Dec. 11, 2023 (Week 6).
The ranking marks the second consecutive season that Northwestern has appeared in the AP Poll, after earning a No. 21 ranking on Feb. 20, 2023.
The Wildcats (7-1, 1-0 Big Ten) defeated Detroit Mercy 91-59 on Sunday, just over a week after taking down then-No. 1 Purdue for the second consecutive season. Northwestern defeated the Boilermakers 92-88 in overtime inside Welsh-Ryan Arena on Friday, Dec. 1.
No. 25 Northwestern returns to action on Wednesday, Dec. 13, when it hosts Chicago State at 7 p.m. CT inside Welsh-Ryan Arena. The game will air on BTN and WGN Radio 720.
