Northwestern Announces 2024 Big Ten Schedule

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern's Big Ten football schedule for the 2024 season is set, following an announcement by the conference on Thursday.
The nine-game slate includes home dates for the Wildcats against Indiana (Oct. 5), Wisconsin (Oct. 19), Ohio State (Nov. 16) and Illinois (Nov. 30).
Northwestern's Big Ten road schedule for 2024 begins with a trip to Seattle to face their new conference foe, Washington, on Sept. 21 and also includes a visit to Maryland on Oct. 12. The Wildcats will have back-to-back road matchups at Iowa (Oct. 26) and Purdue (Nov. 2), before playing their final road game in Ann Arbor on Nov. 23.
In October, the Big Ten unveiled its new football scheduling model for the next five seasons in anticipation of welcoming Oregon, UCLA, USC and Washington to the conference beginning in the 2024 season.
The 2024 season will conclude with the annual Big Ten Football Championship Game, which will feature the top two teams in the overall conference standings at the end of the regular season, with the winner earning the Big Ten Championship. Tiebreaking procedures will be announced later.
