EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern Sullivan-Ubben Head Men's Basketball Coach Chris Collins announced the signings of forward Angelo Ciaravino and guard K.J. Windham, who are both slated to join the program for the 2024-25 season.
Ciaravino is a 6'6" 175 pound forward from Chicago, Ill. that plays at Mount Carmel High School. According to 247Sports, he is rated a three-star prospect, the No. 5 player in Illinois and the No. 145 player nationally. As a junior he averaged 16 points, six rebounds and three assists per game, helping Mount Carmel to a 27-win season and a sectional title game appearance. While playing for the Illinois Wolves in the Under Armour Association last summer, he averaged 10.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game, while shooting 56-percent from the field.
What Collins is saying about Ciaravino: "We are really excited about the addition of Angelo Ciaravino. He's a local product and we love to keep the local guys home. Angelo is a throwback player, he's tough, physical and a terrific athlete. As a wing, he's gotten better and better every year, and is a guy with huge potential for Northwestern."
What Collins is saying about Windham: "We couldn't be more excited to add K.J. Windham to the Wildcat basketball family. When you think about K.J., you think of a winner. He's tough, smart and hard-nosed and plays both ends of the floor. He fits perfectly into the culture of our program and can't wait to add him to our future Wildcat teams."
