Ava Pratt Joins Northwestern Volleyball

Glenview, Ill. native was a two-time All-State selection at Glenbrook South High School
EVANSTON, Ill. (November 13, 2023) – Northwestern volleyball announced the signing Ava Pratt (Glenview, Ill./Glenbrook South High School) to a National Letter of Intent on Monday. Pratt, a native of suburban Glenview, Ill., will join the Wildcats prior to the start of the 2024 season.

High School/Club: Attended Glenbrook South High School, where she played under the direction of coaches Kelly Dorn and Tori Keliher … Named a Top 50 recruit by Prep Dig … Also tabbed the No. 5 recruit in the state of Illinois by the organization … Burst on the scene as a sophomore, earning her first of two All-Central Suburban League (CSL) selections … Named CSL Player of the Year during a junior campaign that saw her also claim All-Illinois High School Association (IHSA) honors as the Titans took home the CSL title and earned a top-16 finish in the state … Hit a career-best .308 as a junior, averaging 4.4 kills per set … Spent seven years with Adversity Volleyball Club and coach Melissa Masterson … National Honor Society member.
Personal: Daughter of Sharon and Tom Pratt … Older sister, Sydney, plays tennis at Northwestern … Participated in Feed My Starving Children for multiple years … Intends to major in Communications at Northwestern.

Fresh off a sweep of Iowa on Sunday, Northwestern returns to action this weekend when it visits Rutgers (November 17) and No. 14 Penn State (November 18).
