IOWA CITY, Iowa – Northwestern rallied past Iowa 2-1 on Thursday at Iowa Soccer Complex behind goals from Emma Phillips and Ella Hase.

How it Happened

Northwestern broke through in the 18th minute on a Josie Aulicino free kick that found Emma Phillips, who skied to head it home, giving the 'Cats a 1-0 advantage.

Iowa equalized on a goal from Maggie Johnston in the 33rd minute, assisted by Elle Otto.

The Wildcats took a 2-1 lead in the 63rd minute when Meg Boade recycled a Hawkeye clearance, finding Ella Hase in the box who placed a header past the Iowa keeper.
