EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern women's basketball are back on the home court on Sunday as they prepare to take on No. 6 Indiana at Welsh-Ryan Arena. Tip-off between the Wildcats and the Hoosiers is set for 2 p.m.

Northwestern (6-8, 0-4) will face their fifth ranked opponent of the season and their third top-ten foe in Indiana (13-1, 3-1). The 'Cats are still in search of their first conference victory, while the Hoosiers have come away victorious in three of four Big Ten matchups so far.

While the 'Cats couldn't complete their comeback in Illinois, it wasn't for lack of standout performances. Grad student Sydney Wood led Northwestern scorers with 19 points, which tied her career high while also tallying five assists and five rebounds. Her three steals on Thursday bumped her season average to 2.71 per game, which is third in the Big Ten.

Courtney Shaw also impressed against the Illini, scoring 17 points on 8-10 shooting in a season-high 30 minutes on the floor. Also in on the action was senior Kaylah Rainey, who set a career-high with 12 points.

On the other end, Indiana will take the court on Sunday for the first time since New Year's Day, when they took down Nebraska in overtime. The Hoosiers are 2-1 on the road this year, including 1-1 at Big Ten schools.

After Sunday's game, the 'Cats will head west to face the Iowa Hawkeyes on Wednesday evening at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Tip off between the two teams is set for 6:30 p.m.
