How It Happened
With the 'Cats holding on to a 33-30 lead following a Derrick Walker, Jr. jumper with 4:33 remaining in the half, a Berry triple sparked a half-ending 10-0 Northwestern run, capped off by a Buie trey that sent the Wildcats racing into the locker room with a 43-30 lead.
Northwestern kept its foot on the gas coming out of the intermission, with an Audige layup at the 13:07 mark pushing the gap past the 20-point mark, 58-37. Two Buie makes from the charity stripe 16 seconds later gave the 'Cats their largest lead of the night, 60-37.
Nebraska looked to mount a late rally, pulling within 12 on two separate occasions, but would get no closer as the Wildcats closed out a seventh straight win over the Cornhuskers.
