EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern and Kansas State played to a 0-0 tie Sunday, August 20 in the home opener at Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium.

Northwestern outshot Kansas State 19-3 in the contest, including a 5-1 advantage in shots on goal.  

How it Happened

Northwestern registered 12 shots in the first half, two of them on goal, while holding K-State without a shot in the first 45 minutes. In the second half, NU outshot Kansas State 7-3, but was unable to convert on any of its seven shots.
