NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Izzy Scane has been named IWLCA Player of the Year and Attacker of the Year, the IWLCA announced on Wednesday.

The Clarkston, Michigan native becomes the first Wildcat to win Player of the Year since the IWLCA began awarding the honor in 2018.

Scane's 18 goals (4.5 goals per game) in the NCAA Tournament earned her Most Outstanding Player honors for the Tournament.

With her fourth goal of the game in Sunday's National Championship, Scane etched her name in Northwestern history, claiming Northwestern's scoring records in both a single-season (99) and a career (288).

Earlier this May, Scane was named Big Ten Attacker of the Year for the second time in her career after previously claiming the award in 2021.

Scane, along with Erin Coykendall has been named one of five finalists for the Tewaaraton Award, which will be awarded on June 1 in Washington, D.C.

Scane has announced her intent to return for the 2024 season at Northwestern.
