Northwestern Softball 2022 Fall Ball Schedule

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern softball revealed its 2022 fall schedule, which features six games at Sharon J. Drysdale Field between September and October.
The Wildcats will host doubleheaders against Lake Forest College and DePaul before welcoming Bryant & Stratton and Spoon River CC. Admission is free for all attending fans this fall, as is parking for Sunday games at the Ryan Field East lot.

Sun, Sept. 25 – Lake Forest College (DH beginning at 11 am CT)
Sat, Oct. 1 – DePaul (DH beginning at 11 am CT)
Sun, Oct. 9 – Bryant & Stratton 11 am CT
Sun, Oct. 9 – Spoon River CC 1 pm CT
The 'Cats, led by reigning Big Ten Coach of the Year Kate Drohan and associate head coach Caryl Drohan, return seven starters from last season's team, including NFCA First Team All-American and Big Ten Pitcher of the Year Danielle Williams, Softball America's Defensive Player of the Year Jordyn Rudd, and All-Big Ten honorees Hannah Cady, Nikki Cuchran, Maeve Nelson, and Skyler Shellmyer.
Northwestern is coming off its sixth Women's College World Series appearance in program history and third under the Drohan's, who earned their 700th career wins as head coach and associate head coach during the Evanston Regional, the fifth highest win total in Big Ten history. The 'Cats dominated on offense last season, leading the Big Ten with 6.7 runs per game, a .408 on-base percentage, .569 slugging percentage, and 39 home runs.
The Wildcats welcome three first-years from the Class of 2026: Bridget Donahey, Kelsey Nader, and Kansas Robinson along with graduate transfer Cami Henry to the roster this fall.
