Barnhizer and Nicholson to Play on European Tour

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern men's basketball sophomore Brooks Barnhizer and junior Matthew Nicholson will participate in Select Team Basketball's Europe Goodwill Tour later this week. The two Wildcats will make up a roster that features collegiate players from across the country. Mercer assistant D.J. Byrd will serve as the team's head coach. Global Sports Academy operates the tour, and has been organizing domestic and international competition since 1991.
Barnhizer and Nicholson will have the opportunity to play in six games against local competition.

August 14 – vs. Hasselt (DH)
August 16 – vs. Lummen
August 17 – vs. Gembo
The Wildcats open the 2022-23 campaign inside Welsh-Ryan Arena on Monday, Nov. 7, against Chicago State. Season tickets are available now.
Barnhizer and Nicholson will have the opportunity to play in six games against local competition.
