Grant Comstock got the start for the Wildcats, tossing four innings and allowing one earned run while striking out a pair.
The 'Cats got on the board in the eighth inning - Jay Beshears reached on a double before scoring on Ethan O'Donnell's 30th RBI of the season. O'Donnell would score on an RBI from Stephen Hrustich, who ripped a double into right field.
Northwestern will conclude their 2022 home schedule against Notre Dame on Tuesday, before traveling to Minnesota for a crucial Big Ten series to close out the regular season.
