Wildcats Drop 5-2 Result at No. 8 Ohio State

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Northwestern fell to No. 8 Ohio State 5-2 on Friday afternoon on the road in Columbus.
The Wildcats fell to 11-6 and 6-1 in the Big Ten. The Buckeyes improved to 13-4 and 6-0 in conference play.
The 'Cats won the doubles point thanks to a 6-1 win at No. 1 from the ranked duo of Clarissa Hand and Maria Shusharina and a 6-3 win at No. 3 from Hannah McColgan and Sydney Pratt.
Christina Hand picked up the only singles win of the day with a 6-2, 7-5 win at No. 5 over Lucia Marzal.
The 'Cats are back in action at home on Sunday, when they host Indiana for Senior Day at noon.
