Wildcats Visit Buckeyes Before Hosting Hoosiers for Senior Day

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern travels to Columbus to take on No. 8 Ohio State on Friday at 2 p.m. CT. before returning home to face Indiana at 12 p.m. CT for Senior Day.
The Wildcats will honor Ema Lazic, Vanessa Streng and Hannah McColgan before the match is Sunday. If weather permits, the Wildcats will compete outdoors at the Vandy Christie Tennis Center.

Following last weekend's matches against Nebraska and Iowa, the Cats' improved to 11-5 overall. The Cats' remain undefeated in the Big Ten with a 6-0 record. Northwestern is ranked No. 37 in the latest ITA tennis rankings.
Clarissa Hand is ranked No. 118 in the latest ITA singles rankings while th doubles duo of Cl. Hand and Maria Shusharina are ranked No. 78.
The Buckeyes are 12-4 overall, and also undefeated in the Big Ten with a 5-0 record. The Hoosiers are 9-9 overall, and 2-3 in the Big Ten.
The Cats' are coming off a 4-1 win at Nebraska and a 6-1 win at Iowa with strong doubles performances from duos Hannah McColgan and Sydney Pratt, Briana Crowley and Christina Hand, and Clarissa Hand and Maria Shusharina.
Northwestern is 16-6 against Ohio State all-time, and Northwestern won in a 4-3 decision last season. Northwestern has won all 21 matches in program history against the Hoosiers, dating back to 2006.
