ROSEMONT, Ill. – Northwestern senior forward Pete Nance has earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention honors by the media, the league announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Nance is averaging 14.7 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game this season, while shooing 49.4% from the field and 44.9% from three-point distance. On Sunday night against Minnesota, the Akron, Ohio native became the 38th player in program history to score 1,000 career points. He turned in an electric Senior Night performance, pumping in 19 points, grabbing 13 boards and blocking three shots in the win over the Golden Gophers.

He is one of just two players in the Big Ten this season averaging 14+ points, 6+ rebounds and 2.5+ assists per game (E.J. Liddell, Ohio State). Nance's 33 blocks are the most by a Wildcat since Dererk Pardon rejected 56 shots in 2017-18.

Vic Law was the last 'Cat that earned all-conference honors in 2018-19.

Additionally, senior guard Ryan Greer received Big Ten Sportsmanship honors.

Northwestern earned the No. 12 seed at this year's Big Ten Tournament and will take on No. 13 seed Nebraska at 5 p.m. CT on Wednesday, March 9, inside Indianapolis' Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The game will air on BTN.
