Both Jill Girardi and Elle Hansen each scored four goals to lead the team, with Hansen tallying a career-high. Lauren Gilbert registered a career-high five assists, and despite not scoring a goal, kept the Wildcat offense in attack mode. Erin Coykendall also logged five points (2g, 3a). Goalkeeper Madison Doucette faced 34 shots and tied the single-game program record making 16 saves. She shares the mark with Julie Krupnick who had 16 saves in a 21-15 win over Dartmouth on Feb. 15, 2019. The 'Cats outscored the Wolverines 7-6 in the second half, and took a comfortable four-goal lead in the fourth quarter. Northwestern limited its opponent to just three goals in the first half for the second consecutive game and held a 5-3 lead at the break. Girardi scored the game's first goal at the 2:45 mark of the first quarter, and was followed by scores from Coykendall and Hansen to open up a 3-0 lead.
