EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern Women's Tennis will travel to Atlanta this Sunday to face a Georgia Tech team receiving votes in the latest ITA Poll.

Northwestern heads to Atlanta after finishing 1-1 at the ITA Weekend Qualifiers where they fell to Wake Forest 4-1 and beat Penn State 4-3.
The 'Cats and Penn State were tied at 3-3 until Hannah McColgan clinched the result at No. 6 singles with a 7-6, 6-4 win over Alexandra Nielsen in her season debut in singles.
Georgia Tech is 0-2 on the season after losing their season opener to Old Dominion 4-3 and their following match to No. 14 Michigan 4-3. They were ranked the No. 10 seed in the ITA Kickoff event.
The Yellow Jackets enjoyed a strong 2021 campaign, finishing 20-11 and advancing to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament before eventually falling to No. 4 UCLA.
