» Northwestern is looking for its second straight and sixth ever trip to the Final Four after beating Iowa 1-0 in last year's second round to advance to the semifinals for the first time in 27 years. The Wildcats have never made back-to-back Final Four appearances. This postseason marks Northwestern's 18th NCAA Tournament berth and with Friday's win over Miami (OH), the Wildcats have now pushed their all-time NCAA Tournament record over .500 (18-17).
» Senior captain Peyton Halsey opened the scoring in Friday's quarterfinal on a penalty stroke goal mid-way through the third quarter. It marked Halsey's third goal off a penalty stroke this postseason, having netted two in the run to the Big Ten championship game last weekend, and she is now 5-of-6 on penalty strokes this season. Halsey has put together a her best season as a senior, recording career highs with 14 goals and four assists.

» The Wildcats dominated penalty corners in the first round, drawing 16 against Miami (OH). Northwestern has now run a Big Ten-leading 178 penalty corners this season, chasing the program record 196 corners set in 1985. The 'Cats have scored 27 of their 59 goals this season off of penalty corners, including nine game-winners.
» Annabel Skubisz recorded five saves against Miami (OH) to push her season total to 95 on Friday. She needs five more saves to become the sixth Wildcat with 100 saves in a season this century and the first to do so since 2016. Skubisz has been historically dominant in the NCAA Tournament over her career, notably notching three shutouts while allowing just one goal in last year's run to the national championship.
